Create or Log In to Your Badge Wallet

Your Badge Wallet is the secure, private hub where your credentials live. Sign up or log in without typing long forms:

Verify Your Profile URL (LinkedIn or GitHub)

In your Wallet Dashboard, navigate to the Verified Links & Profiles section. This acts as proof that you own the respective profile link.

  • Click on the profile type you wish to link (e.g., GitHub or LinkedIn).
  • You'll be redirected to a temporary oauth confirmation from GitHub or LinkedIn. Approve it to return to your dashboard.
  • No private access keys or personal account data is ever stored — our system only confirms your identity URL.

Synchronize Claims Without Email

Once your authenticated profile links are verified, you are ready to fetch achievements.

  • On your wallet dashboard, locate the list of Badges.
  • Click on the Sync Badges button.
  • Our system immediately queries all pending grants across verified issuers corresponding to your linked profile URLs.
  • Any matching achievements will automatically populate in your pending dashboard.
Sync matches occur immediately! Simply click Accept Badge once they load.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why didn't I receive an email notification?

To enforce absolute privacy guidelines and prevent unsolicited spam, we do not require nor compile an active list of email addresses. Credentials are tied directly to your cryptographic wallet or verified public URLs. Running Sync Badges replaces the need for old-school emails!

Does linking my account reveal private details?

No. The OAuth step operates entirely on read-only public parameters (your unique user id and profile URL). We never request permission to modify your profile, view personal feeds, message connections, or read private code.

What happens when I click accept?

When you accept, the digital badge is cryptographically linked to your wallet. You can set it to public to display it on your public Badge Wallet URL, or keep it hidden if you only want to use it for personal porting / JSON downloads.
